First, an update on the last potential space

We shared a space with some potential about a month ago (market & church st). Unfortunately, it looks like that one isn’t going to work out. The space was on the high end of our budget & needs, and the owner is a big corporate landlord who wasn't inclined to get creative on making it work.

We’re feeling both disappointed and relieved. Since the space was bigger than we really needed, it came with a lot of risks and a tight budget. But we’re still disappointed to be back to the drawing board. We knew SF real estate would be tough, but we’ve been searching for 6 months and we miss our community home.

The good news is that we got to see the whole process, from architect to quote to offer, and it’ll go faster next time.

We have faith that the right space will find its way to us in its own time.
